Another beautiful day we are having today. I so cannot wait til the end of day comes, as I have ice cream in the freezer 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Today is Day 20, wowzer, almost Eid, how exciting 🤩🤩🤩🤩

I have Tabouli recipe to share! I know, I know, it is not Indonesian, but it’s prepared by an Indonesian, so that counts 🤣✌🤣✌

Simple to make, refreshing for a hot day, and you can serve it with whatever you like, even with rice, mostly with pitas bread, or as is 😍

Aaaannnnnddd….if you have the time to check on the video, I prepared two kinds of them! 😍😍😍😍

Here are the ingredients!

Curly parsley (1/2 of a bunch), as needed
Mint leaves (5-7), as needed
4 green onion
1 tomato
1/4 c packed, cooked bulgur
1/8 c lemon juice
1/8 c olive oil
Himalaya salt, to taste
Cracked black pepper, to taste

Cilantro, optional, see the video



  • Curly parsley 1/2 of a bunch, as needed
  • Mint leaves 5-7, as needed
  • 4 green onion
  • 1 to mato
  • 1/4 c packed cooked burghul
  • 1/8 c lemon juice
  • 1/8 c olive oil
  • Himalaya salt to taste
  • Cracked black pepper to taste

  • Cilantro optional, see the video


  • chop/slice veggies and place in a bowl
  • soften bulgur in hot boiling water 2 mins (you can microwave it as well)
  • mix softened bulgur with veggies
  • mix juice and oil, pour into veggies
  • season with salt and pepper
