This fried banana filled bread, originally uses egg and milk powder. I veganized it, well simply omitting those, and turns out, they taste almost exactly like when it uses those.

250 g flour
4 tbsp sugar (organic coconut palm sugar or raw cane)
1 tsp active dry yeast
75 ml lukewarm water
3-4 heaping tbsp vegan margarine
2 bananas, slice into 4 each
Corn oil for frying
Bloom yeast in water for 5 mins
Mix flour, sugar, margarine and yeast solution, knead
Let rest for 30 mins, covered
Divide dough into 8 balls, roll flat each and place a banana
Seam to seal
Fry until golden brown
Roting Pisang (Untuk-Untuk)
Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 4 tbsp sugar organic coconut palm sugar or raw cane
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 75 ml lukewarm water
- 3-4 heaping tbsp vegan margarine
- 2 bananas slice into 4 each
- Corn oil for frying
Instructions
- Bloom yeast in water for 5 mins
- Mix flour, sugar, margarine and yeast solution, knead
- Let rest for 30 mins, covered
- Divide dough into 8 balls, roll flat each and place a banana
- Seam to seal
- Fry until golden brown
