Beef Pot Stickers

Love pot stickers!

You can fill it with anything from veggies, mushrooms, chicken, beef, or whatever you prefer! I am piggying out whenever I make pot stickers at this house 😛

I like them as is, with all sorts of sauce, or you can try my dipping sauce bellow. Too bad I run out ginger, otherwise, would be better with ginger too!

Ingredients

  • 8 bb carrots and 8 bb potatoes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 garlic diced
  • 2 tbsp diced onion
  • 250 g ground beef
  • Vegeta seasoning to taste
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 c water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch in 1-2 tbsp water
  • wonton wrappers

Instructions

  • Dice 8 bb carrots and 8 bb potatoes, set aside
  • Saute onion and garlic in hot oil, then add in 250 g ground beef, brown beef
  • Add in veggies, Vegeta seasoning to taste, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/4 c water, cook covered, 10 minutes
  • Dissolve 1 tsp cornstarch in 1-2 tbsp water, pour into pan, stir, cook for another 20 mins, take off from heat, let cool
  • Place a tsp of filling on wonton wrapper, wet sides and fold as dumplings
  • Heat 2-3 tbsp veggie oil, place dumpling, cook covered on medium-high for 5 minutes
  • Pour in 1/4 c water, cook for another 5 mins
  • Serve with your favorite sauce (i did make a vid for the dipping sauce, but wont have the time to edit for now)

Dipping

  • 1/4 c low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Sesame oil to taste
  • Pepper flakes/ground black pepper to taste
