This creamy white soup is great to be served with cabbage rolls (stuffed cabbage) or tuna croquette. Well you can serve it as is, but with cabbage rolls or tuna croquette, yummo. I prepare this quite often when the weather is cold. It is one of our favorites at home 😀
Give this soup a try this coming winter!
1 medium onion, sliced and chopped
1 1/2 cup thinly sliced and chopped cauliflower
1 very long carrot, shredded
2 stalks of celery, sliced thinly
3 cups of water (or more)
3 tablespoons of fat free chicken broth powder
ground white pepper, to taste
1 cups of fat free milk (or a little bit more if desired)
2 or 2 1/2 tablespoons of all purpose flour
Directions
- In a medium saucepan combine chicken broth, carrot, celery cauliflower, and onion. Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat. cover and simmer 6 to 8 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- In a small bowl, combine milk, flour, and pepper and stir into broth mix.
- Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. cook and stir 1 minute more.
- Serve warm

Kalau sudah musim dingin di Kanada, sajian berkuah hangat jadi teman setia deh. Sop, soto, bakso, sambal botol dan minuman jahe 😀
Ini salah satu sup krim yang sering saya buat kalau lagi cuaca dingin.
Enaknya sih disajikan dengan gorengan seperti kroket ikan tuna atau juga kubis gulung isi ayam kek, isi daging kek. Tapi supnya sendiri sudah enak kok, jadi mau ada tambahan ataupun ga, silahkan dicoba, mungkin bagi Anda enak juga 😀
1 bawang bombay ukuran sedang, cacah
1 1/2 gelas kembang kol cacah
1 batang wortel, parut
2 batang seledri bule (yang besar, bukan seledri Indonesia)
3 gelas air (setidaknya, boleh tambah)
3 sdm kaldu ayam bubuk
merica bubuk putih secukupnya
1 gelas susu (setidaknya, boleh tambah)
2 1/2 sdm terigu
Cara Membuat
- Masak air, kaldu serta sayuran hingga lunak
- Campurkan susu dan terigu, aduk rata, tuang kedalam sop, masak hingga mengental
- Beri merica, sajikan hangat (beri garam/perasa saat menyajikan)
