Rice and Tuna Pie

It doesn’t have to be baked in round pan and slice as a pie, can be baked in a square or rectangular pan, and slice as you wish! I just don’t know how to title this dish better 😉

Super good served with Indonesian hot sauce, ABC brand, or you can use Sriracha which is pretty easy to find compares to ABC brand.

Ingredients
2 cups cooked long grain rice
2 tbsp salted margarine
1 beaten whole egg
1 can tuna (170 g)
1 cup grated cheese

1 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup of diced mushroom
3/4 cup of milk

Directions

  • Brush bottom and up side the pie pan with margarine
  • Mix well rice, margarine, and egg
  • Press the mixture on the pie pan
  • Drain the tuna, mix well with the mushroom
  • Spread nicely on the middle of the rice shell
  • In another bowl, mix milk, cheese, salt and pepper, and onion
  • Pour on top of the pan
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes in 350 F

Bahasa Indonesia – Nasi Tuna Panggang

Pai nasi ini enak sekali disajikan hangat-hangat dengan cocolan sambal pedas ABC 😀 Kalau disini sih yang mudah ditemukan adalah sambal Sriracha, cukup enak dan pedas 🙂

2 gelas nasi matang
2 sdm margarin
1 butir telur
1 kaleng tuna, berat 170 g, buang airnya
1 gelas keju parut

1 sdm krim masam
1 sdm bawang bombay, cacah
garam dan merica bubuk secukupnya
1/4 gelas cacahan jamur segar
3/4 gelas susu cair

Cara Membuat

  • Campurkan nasi, margarin, serta kocokan telur. Tekan-tekan pada cetakan yang sudah di sapu dengan margarin secara merata
  • Campurkan tuna serta jamur, taruh diatas nasi
  • Campurkan sisa bahan lainnya, lalu tuang diatas jamur
  • Panggang dalam suhu 350 F selama kurang lebih 1 jam
  • Sajikan
