It’s windy here today, and a tad cloudy as well, just like yesterday. It’s gonna stay like this for a couple of days supposedly. Meh. I managed to replanted my pumpkin shoots though. I still have a bag of soil left, I think later in the day I’m going to replant the sunflowers as well.
For today’s recipe, if I could have my way, I’d prepare it every day 🤣 Simple yet delicious. You can serve it with prawn chips, sprinkle it with fried onion, acar bawang (fresh cucumber pickle), refreshing salad, beef floss, or as is.

300 g lean ground beef
2.5 c rice
1 lemongrass
1 pandan leaf
2 Indonesians bay leaf (daun salam)
2 kafir lime leaf
1 can coconut milk
1/2 can of water
1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder or to taste
1 tsp garlic powder or to taste
1 tsp mushroom granules or to taste
Into rice cooker pot, place rice and rinse until water is clear
Brown beef then dump it into the pot as well
Add the rest on the ingredients and mix well
Cook according to your rice cooker manufacturer
Once it’s done, open the lid, fluff the rice
Serve as is or with sides

Nasi Uduk Daging
Ingredients
