We had a fun birthday party for my youngest yesterday, inviting the usual friends, totalling only 9 kids, yet the house was soooo alive, so noisy, so messy in the end 🤣
I made this following cake, a vanilla cake covered with ganache and decorated as Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas, per requested by the birthday boy.
Simple but yummy cake, my youngest’s faved cake 😊
1 1/2 c flour
3/4 c sugar
1 tsp BSoda
A pinch of salt
5 tbsp oil
1 c water
1 tsp vinegar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Ganache
1/4 c almond milk
3/4 c DF choc chips
Vanilla Cake with Chocolate Ganache
vegan
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1 tsp BSoda
- A pinch of salt
- 5 tbsp oil
- 1 c water
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Ganache
- 1/4 c almond milk
- 3/4 c DF choc chips
Instructions
- Mix dry
- Mix in wet
- Bake on preheated 350 F for 25 mins
Ganache
- Heat milk, stir in choc
- Cool to room tempt or desired consistency
- Spread onto cake layers and cover the whole cake
- Decorate with vegan friendly fondant
