I got to eat tons of coconut rice, which is known as Nasi Uduk, in Indonesia, Nasi Lemak, in Malaysia, throughout my uni’ life. So tasty. Mostly paired with fried chicken in Indonesia, or ikan bilis in Malaysia 😀
The following is cooked in rice cooker, a lazy man version 😛
2 fresh lemon grass, tie knots after crushing it a little bit
5 Salam leaves
2 chicken boneless breasts, wash clean, cut cubes,
3 cups of long grain rice, wash clean
2-3 teaspoons of salt
750-800 ml coconut milk
1 dried galangal
1 cup cooked prawns
Place all ingredients into the rice cooker and cook until the rice is cooked
Nasi Uduk Rice Cooker
Ingredients
- 2 fresh lemon grass tie knots after crushing it a little bit
- 5 Salam leaves
- 2 chicken boneless breasts wash clean, cut cubes,

Instructions
- Place all ingredients into the rice cooker and cook until the rice is cooked
