Cranberry Muffins

This is my husband’s mother’s recipe. You can use either fresh or thawed frozen cranberries, however the fresh ones are the best for this muffin!

Perfect to have winter time, Christmas time, when cranberry season here, or actually anytime 😀

Ingredients

1 bag fresh cranberries
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 tablespoon raisins
16 dkg all purposes flour (160 grams)
1 tablespoon fresh grated skin of lemon
12,5 dkg unsalted butter (not frozen one, soft but not too soft, 125 grams)
12 dkg sugar (120 grams)
2 eggs
paper cups for baking

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients but cranberries, using food mixer, until everything blended as one and smooth.
  • Place three or four spoons of the mixture into the paper cups, then drop 1 or 2 cranberries in each cups.
  • Bake in 180 C until cooked nicely golden brown

Bahasa Indonesia – Bolu Buah Krans

Ini resep dari ibu suami saya. Boleh pakai buah kranberi segar ataupun beku, tapi biarkan dalam suhu ruangan dulu yah kalau pakai yang beku.

Di Kanada, buah kranberi segar sering adanya pas Natalan, jadi muffin ini cocok sekali buat disajikan pada hari Natal pagi. Tetapi jika Anda mau pakai buah kranberi beku, bisa buat ini muffin kapan saja kok 😀

Bahan-bahan

1 bungkus buah kranberi segar
1 sdt baking powder (bakpuder)
1 sdm sultanas
160 g tepung terigu
1 sdm parutan kulit jeruk lemon
125 mentega, suhu ruangan, tapi jangan terlalu lembek yah
120 g gula
2 butir telur

Cara Membuat

  • Kocok semua bahan kecuali buah kranberi
  • Tuang adonan ke paper cups, beri buah kranberi segar
  • Panggang pada oven suhu 180 C hingga matang
