Happy Monday!
Its is a sunny beautiful morning here in north east British Columbia. Sooooo beautiful and it’s 3C! I wonder if Winter is over. Seems early 🤪
For today’s recipe, it’s a copycat of Tim Hortons Dutchie….but done in air fryer 😁 Let’s pretend it’s healthier 😉

3/4 c lukewarm milk
2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
1 egg
1/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 c flour
2 tsp breadmachine yeast
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 c golden raisins (or sultanas, or raisins)
vegetable oil for brushing
1 c icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp milk
Into bread machine bowl/pot, add ingredients in order given, up to cinnamon powder. Choose dough cycle. On my breadmaker, it takes 1 1/2 H
Once dough is ready, roll rectangular, then knead in raisins. Then roll to rectangular again and slice into portions. Dutchie is rectangular shape, FYI
Let Dutchie stand for 20-30 minutes, covered, then brush lightly with oil
Air fry on 350 F for 5 minutes, flip, brush again with oil, and air fry again for another 5 minutes (or depending how brown you’d like your Dutchie to be)
While Dutchi is air-frying, make the icing by mixing icing sugar, vanilla essence and milk
As soon as Dutchie out of the air fryer, glaze them with the icing
Enjoy!
