Happy Monday 😊
I had a very tiring weekend, roadtrip, hospital stay, and grocery shopping for school as today is back-to-school for my boys. After 2 weeks of Spring break, it’s not gonna be easy going back to school for those 2 🤣
For today’s recipe, I have Indonesian cookies to share. Sometimes they are called Snow White, Snow Princess, but I prefer to call them Snow Balls, as I shaped into balls instead their common shape, which is crescent moon 😊
They are milky, just the way I like it!

200 g unsalted butter
50 g icing sugar
200 g flour
100 g cornstarch
30 g whole milk powder
A pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
Icing sugar
In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, milk powder, and salt
Cream butter and icing sugar until pale and fluffy
Sift in dry ingredients into butter mixture, and add in vanilla essence
Scoop per 1 tbsp, shape into nice rounds/balls, and bake cookies for 20-25 minutes on preheated 300 F
Roll cookies freshly out of the oven in icing sugar. Once cookies are at room temperature, roll them once more in icing sugar
