Good Morning Guys!
I was just opening the blinds earlier and saw the old lady across our house is up too. The other night a police officer came over and questioned the neighborhoods whether we could help with some info and whatnot, since the old lady made a report, well twice, that someone was inside her house, but she lives alone. So it was a puzzle to her, to the officer, as no sign of forced entry apparently, nor anything stolen.
It must have been a scary experience. Alone and feeling or finding that someone walked through your house. Yikes.
Back to recipe sharing, I have steamed buns recipe today. Some that I shaped into flowers. The buns are some filled with meat while some more with sweets.

Filling
- 5 mini potatoes
 - A handful baby carrots
 - 200-250 g ground beef
 - 1/4 c water/broth
 - 1/2 tbsp Vegeta powder
 - A pinch of ground white pepper
 - 4-5 garlic
 - 1/4 c of large onion
 
Buns
- 1 1/4 c lukewarm milk (plus 2 tbsp lukewarm water)
 - 2 tbsp sugar
 - 1 – 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
 - 3 c flour
 - 1/3 c skim milk powder
 - 1/2 tbsp icing sugar
 
- Jam/spread of your choice
 - Choc chips

Ingredients
Filling – Meat
- 5 mini potatoes

 - 1 celery optional
 - 5 garlic slice/dice
 - 1/4 of a large onion dice
 
Dough
- 1 1/4 c lukewarm milk plus 2 tbsp lukewarm water
 - 2 tbsp sugar
 - 1 – 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
 - 3 c flour
 - 1/3 c skim milk powder
 - 1/2 tbsp icing sugar
 
Filling – Sweets
- Jam/spread of your choice
 - Choc chips
 
Instructions
Filling – Meat
- Dice/slice veggies, set aside
 - Dice/slice onion and garlic, set aside
 - Brown beef, discard fat
 - Add in onion and garlic, stir
 - Add in veggies, lower heat, cook til somewhat soften
 - Pour in broth or water, season with Vegeta and white pepper
 - Cook til veggies totally soften
 - Set aside to cool
 
Dough
- Mix in sugar and lukewarm milk, sprinkle with yeast, let bloom
 - Mix flour, icing sugar, and milk powder
 - Pour in yeast, knead
 - Let rest til doubled, punched out air and divide into portions
 
Steamed Buns
- Flatten each portion, place fillin in center (either meat or sweets)
 - Seam to seal into round buns
 - Let rest til doubled
 - Preheat steamer, steam buns 5-8 mins
