I have a pretzels buns/knots recipe to share today, and they are sourdough pretzels. Yep, back with sourdough baking ????
These soft pretzels are with a little twist using Hungarian style pretzels. You will not find coarse salt on the topping I mean, but they have salted topping!

Here are the ingredients, and check the video for details ?
- 1 c sourdough starter
 - 3 c bread flour
 - 4 tsp sugar
 - 1 1/2 tsp salt
 - 1/4 c milk (rice, oat, nut or regular is fine)
 - 2 tsp active dry yeast
 - 1 tbsp olive oil
 - 1/4 – 1/2 c lukewarm water
 

Topping
- 1/4 c bread flour
 - 1/2 tbsp salt
 - 2 tbsp hot water (more or less)
 
Sourdough Pretzels Knots (Hungarian Style)
Ingredients
- 1 c sourdough starter
 - 3 c bread flour
 - 4 tsp sugar
 - 1 1/2 tsp salt

 - 2 tsp active dry yeast
 - 1 tbsp olive oil
 - 1/4 – 1/2 c lukewarm water
 
Salt Paste
- 1/4 c bread flour
 - 1/2 tbsp salt
 - 2 tbsp hot water more or less
 
Instructions
- Heat milk to lukewarm, sprinkle with yeast, let stand til bloom
 - In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt
 - Pour in sourdough starter, bloomed yeast, oil and water
 - Knead, let rest for an H
 - Divide into portions, roll into rope and shape into pretzels
 - Bake on preheated 350 F for 20-30 mins
 - Take out and spoon the salt paste, bake for another 5 mins
