What a cold morning we are having here in the North, but the good news is, almost Spring break for the boys, I won’t have to get up early next week, yay 💃💃💃💃 Altho! Next week I have to road-trip for 6-7 H for hospital visit. Which isn’t gonna be fun, but husband will be driving, and you know what that means, right? Snoring time for me on the passenger seat 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have a great cookies recipe to share today. Basing on Dad’s Cookies – but my way obviously 😉 Kids and adults in this house truly love them. So give the recipe a try 😊

1/2 c unsalted butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c sugar
1 egg
1 cap vanilla essence
1 heaping tbsp honey
1 c flour
1 c rolled oats
1/2 c quick cooking oats
1/2 tsp each BP and BSoda
1/2 tsp allspice powder
1/4 c chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugars until mixed well and creamy, then crack in eggs, one at a time, along with vanilla essence and honey. Mix until completely combined
In a bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients, then combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. Chill dough for 20-30 minutes
After chilling, shape dough into rounds, per 1 heaping tablespoon or cookie scoop, then flatten them
Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes on preheated 350 F
