Do you follow From, in Paramount+, friends? It’s really intriguing. I was in Season 2 and then I canceled Paramount+ as we’ve got too many subscriptions here and there, but then Season 3 came out, we went back to Paramount+ again as I was just dying to find out in Season 3, and yet only today I could start watching Season 3, as I had to finish watching Legacies on Prime first 🤣😅🤣😅 Too many to watch, too little time 😀
For today’s recipe share. I have a dish from Indonesia, called Ayam Kecap, which is Sweet Soy Sauce Chicken. Some people would refer this dish as Ayam Mentega, as they would use butter (mentega) in one of the ingredients.

1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
1 heaping tbsp chicken bouillon powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 c peanut oil and water (watch the vlog)
2 tbsp peanut oil (or unsalted butter)
6 garlic
Sweet soy sauce
In a large bowl, mix chicken bouillon powder, garlic powder, turmeric powder, onion powder in a bowl, then pour in peanut oil and water, mix well
Coat chicken pieces in garlic mixture, the air fry until cooked through (390 F for 25 minutes on mine)
Bruise garlic and saute in peanut oil until fragrant, turn down heat low, then pour in sweet soy sauce, about 3 tbsp to full 1/4 c
Stir in fried chicken and coat nicely in sauce
