Nothing too fancy for dinner today. Pasta is always affordable and lasts good in the pantry. You can turn it into many kinds of dishes. Filling and no hassle 😀

5 slices of bread, cubed
1 cup of cooked fusilli
5 slices of no fat cheese
1 can tuna, drained and flaked
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tbsp chopped onion
a dash of red ground pepper
- Sprayed or buttered a 8x8x2 25 in 2 Q baking dish.
- Thinly slice 1 slice of cheese, set a side.
- Spread half of the bread into the baking dish. Top with the cooked fussili then followed by 4 slices of the cheese then sprinkle the drained flaked tuna over the cheese layer.
- Layer with the other half of bread cubes and the sliced 1 cheese.
- In a bowl, combine milk, eggs, red ground pepper, salt, and onion; pour over cheese and tuna mixture.
- Bake at 325F for 45 to 50 minutes until firm.
Fusilli Strata
