Toltott Paprika

Stuffed Bell Pepper

Ingredients

  • 2 c rice
  • 450 g x 3 ground beef
  • 2 tbsp chicken bouillon powder
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 c diced or thinly sliced onion
  • 1/4 c thinly sliced celery
  • 2 celery
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce 398 ml
  • 1 can water more or less, adjust it
  • 3-6 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

  • Cut the top of the bell peppers, remove seeds, and rinse
  • In a large bowl, mix rinsed rice, ground beef, bouillon powder, sweet paprika powder, eggs, onion, and sliced celery, until completely combined
  • Spoon mixture into bell peppers and line bell peppers on a pan
  • Crush tomatoes and add them into the pan with the 2 celery
  • Pour sauce and water, and stir in paste
  • Cook on medium heat for at least an hour, until beef and rice are cooked well
