Tahu Goreng Bumbu Kacang

Ingredients

  • 1 package of herb firm tofu in Montreal, there is this brand which name I cannot recall at the moment, but you can find it in IGA, Provigo, Metro; there's a pink line on the package
  • 1/4 of 1 package of peanut sauce for Gado-Gado Indonesian peanut dressing, quite plenty to be found in Chinatown stores, dissolved in enough hot water
  • salt and white pepper powder as needed
  • 4 pieces of Romaine lettuce slice thinly
  • 1-2 sdm cooking oil
  • 1 whole egg

Instructions

  • Add in salt and white pepper powder in egg, beat well
  • Slice tofu and roll onto egg mixture
  • Heat oil, and fry tofu until golden brown
  • Wash sliced romaine lettuce and place on serving plates
  • Place fried tofu on top of lettuce
  • Pour peanut sauce as dressing, serve
