Cheese Topped Fried Bread

Ingredients

  • 350 ml lukewarm water
  • 2 tsp quick rise yeast
  • 50-55 g unsalted butter
  • 500 g flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Sour cream
  • Grated cheese
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Soften yeast in water
  • On a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, then pour in yeast, knead
  • Add in unsalted butter, continue kneading until mixture forms a nice dough
  • Cover and let rest for an H, until doubled in size
  • Preheat frying oil
  • Pinch enough dough and flatten it, as wide as your pan is, then fry until golden brown, turning once
  • Crush garlic and mix it with olive oil
  • Brush garlic oil on fried dough, sprinkle lightly with salt, then spread too with sour cream
  • Lastly, sprinkle grated cheese generously, and serve immediately
