Korean Style Corn Dog

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of chicken wieners
  • Cheddar cheese
  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • 2 tsp double acting BP
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • A generous pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 ml skim milk
  • Potato chips
  • Panko
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Sugar for sprinkling
  • Ketchup

Instructions

  • Spread panko on a plate
  • Crush potato chips and spread them on a different plate
  • Cut chicken wieners into two if not 3 pieces, push a piece onto a skewer
  • Cut cube cheese, then push it to the skewer with the wiener. Repeat steps until all pieces are on skewers
  • In a tall cup, mix flour, salt, sugar, and milk, then stir in beaten eggs
  • Dip and coat skewers in batter, then roll them either on crushed potato chips and/or panko
  • Deep fry until golden brown
  • Sprinkle corndog with sugar and drizzle with ketchup and/or Sriracha
  • Serve immediately and enjoy
