Egg Drop Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cans of chicken broth
  • 1 tin of sweet corn kernels
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tbsp ginger powder
  • Sesame oil to taste
  • Chives
  • Ground white pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  • In a bowl, beat 3 eggs plus 1 yolk
  • In a separate bowl, beat 1 egg white
  • On a separate bowl, dilute cornstarch with a little broth
  • In a pot, bring to boil broth, season with garlic, ginger powders, sesame oil and ground white pepper
  • Once boiling, drop in the corn kernels
  • Using for, drop in beaten eggs, creating strains of eggs, followed with beaten egg white
  • Thickened with cornstarch solution
  • Add in chives
  • Serve immediately
