Cranberry Blossoms Sandwich Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 c water
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 c flour
  • 1 tbsp quick rise yeast
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 4 large zucchini and/or pumpkin blossoms
  • A generous pinch salt
  • 1/3 c dried cranberries
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds

Instructions

  • Into a breadmaker, add water, butter, flour, yeast and sugar, in that order. Click regular cycle and wait for 2 minutes
  • Meanwhile, wash and pat dry your blossoms, then remove the stems and stamen. Slice thinly or chop the blossoms
  • Once 2 minutes is up, add blossoms, salt, flaxseed and dried cranberries and let the breadmaker continue its job
