Cheesy Blossoms Flatbread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c lukewarm water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp – 1 tbsp quick rise yeast
  • 3 c flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 c grated cheese mine was triple cheddar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 5 blossoms
  • Additional flour start from 1/4 c, watch the vlog
  • Unsalted butter as needed

Instructions

  • Rinse blossoms, remove stems and stamen, slice thinly
  • On a small bowl, mix sugar into water, then stir in yeast
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, then pour in yeast, followed with grated cheese and blossoms, knead
  • Cover and let rest for an 45-60 mins, then knead in additional flour
  • Divide dough into 8 portions, roll flat each
  • Brush pan with unsalted butter, fry bread until browning on each side
