Butterscotch Chips Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 c unsalted butter
  • 2/3 c dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1-2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c flour
  • 2/3 c cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp BSoda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2-1 package of butterscotch/caramel chips

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt, put to side
  • In another bowl, cream butter and sugars until combined, add in essence. Crack in eggs, one at a time. Scrape sides if needed. Lower the power, add in flour mixture, a little at a time
  • Fold in butterscotch/Caramel chips
  • Spread and pat dough nicely on a rectangular pan. I am using brownie pan
  • Bake on preheated 350 F until top is dry and crisp, but center is fudgey (about 30-35 minutes, depending on your oven)
  • Cool to room temperature and enjoy 😊
