Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 c mixed beans
  • 1 bag Beef wieners
  • 1 bag Chicken wieners
  • 1 medium onion
  • 4 garlic
  • 3 celery
  • 2-3 bayleaf
  • A pinch of peppercorns
  • Baby carrots
  • 500 ml broth

Instructions

  • Soak beans for 1 H, drain, rinse, drain, then dump them into Instant Pot
  • Halve the onion, slice the garlic, and cut the celery, then add them into the pot as well
  • Pour in broth, add in baby carrots, bayleaf and peppercorns
  • Cut chicken wieners into portions and add them into the pot as well. Then pour enoug water to the max line
  • Choose soup option for at least 1 H 45 minutes. Release steam and take off lid. Continue cooking
  • Slice beef wieners and drop them into the boiling soup
  • Mix enough flour with water and sweet paprika powder, and pour this mixture into the pot, stir til thickening. Continue cooking for 5-8 mins
  • Serve with sourdough bread if not French bread
  • Enjoy!
