Crepes (Palacsinta/Dadar Gulung)

Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 c skim milk powder
  • 2 c water
  • 7 eggs
  • 1 tbsp Mexican vanilla blend
  • 1/4 c + 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 c + 1 tbsp sunflower oil

Dry Ingredients

  • 4 c enriched strong baker's flour
  • 1 c skim milk powder
  • Generous pinch of fine sea salt
  • 1 c water
  • 3 1/2 c soda water

Making and Serving

  • Butter for greasing
  • Favorite jam
  • Favorite sauce
  • Honey
  • Fruits

Instructions

  • Mix wet ingredients set aside
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, set aside
  • Mix in dry ingredients into wet, a little at a time, using balloon whisk
  • Pour in water followed with 2-3 c soda water (depending how thin you want your crepes is)
  • Let rest 15 mins
  • Pour in 1/2 c soda water
  • Grease your pan
  • Pour 1/3 c batter, make crepe
  • Repeat until all batter used up
  • Serve with your favorite jam or sauce and/or fruits
