Shrimp Fried Noodle (Low Carb For Ketogenic)

Ingredients

  • 1 package House Foods Tofu Shirataki spaghetti shaped noodle substitute (3 gram carb), drain, rinse
  • 1/4 of 1 block medium-firm tofu 0 gram carb, cubed --> Sunrise brand
  • 1 small-medium onion
  • 1-2 heaping tsp store bought minced garlic
  • ground white pepper to taste I added quite plenty as I like spicy food
  • 10 cooked shrimps medium-big size, tail intact
  • 2 tsp olive oil 0 gram carb
  • Hungarian Vegeta seasoning or you can substitute it with Royco/Masako or soup base, as needed
  • a squirt or two of store bought lime juice
  • 1/2-1 tbsp salsa smokey chipotle from President Choice slightly less than 1 gram of carb
  • 1 green onion slice thinly
  • Cucumber optional

Instructions

  • In food processor, make paste of garlic and onion, add in the ground white pepper
  • Heat olive oil, fry cubed tofu until golden brown
  • Add in paste, stir lightly to coat tofu
  • Add in shrimps, noodle, and the rest of the ingredients; stir well
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes; then add in green onion, stir, place on serving plate
  • Serve immediately, accompanied with sliced cucumber
