Oseng-Oseng Daging

stir fry ground beef

Ingredients

  • 600 g ground beef
  • 1/2 of a large onion
  • 4 garlic
  • 1/4 c sunflower oil
  • 1/4 c water
  • Magi liquid seasoning to taste
  • 4 heaping tsp mushrooms granules
  • 1-2 tsp vegetable rice seasoning to taste
  • 1 heaping tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp or more ground white pepper
  • 1-2 tsp dark chili powder this isn't spicy at all, I got it from Winners
  • 1/2 bag of mixed frozen veggies
  • 1 bag of beansprouts

Instructions

  • In a food processor, process onion, garlic, oil and water. Dump paste into a nonstick pan, heat up until fragrant, then stir in ground beef, cook until browning, on high heat. This is so the water will be evaporated, instead dumping juice out - less messier :P
  • Stir in frozen veggies, cook for 5 minutes, then season. Adjust to your liking. Cook for another 2 mins
  • Stir in bean sprouts. Set heat to low and cover with lid. Cook for another 5-8 minutes
  • Serve immediately with warm rice!
