Sourdough Focaccia

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c sourdough starter or just below 3/4 c
  • 1 c lukewarm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • A generous pinch of salt
  • 2 c bread flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra
  • Dried rosemary
  • Garlic powder
  • Coarse sea salt
  • Grape tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Mix ingredients. Rest overnight
  • Grease pan with olive oil
  • Carefully dump onto greased pan
  • "Stretch" to rectangular by pushing your fingers here and there, if you'd like rectangular shape, otherwise no need
  • Top with rosemary, garlic, sea salt, and tomatoes
  • Rest 20-30 mins
  • Bake on preheated 450 F for 20 mins, convection oven
