Kolak Kolang Kaling

Ingredients

  • 1 can of toddy palm fruits in heavy syrup drain from syrup but do not rinse
  • 1 can of coconut milk
  • 1 screwpine leaf tied in knot
  • 75 g coconut palm sugar
  • generous pinch of salt

Instructions

  • place everything but toddy palm fruit in a pot, being to boil until sugar is dissolved
  • add in toddy palm fruit and let it boil for another 5 mins
  • cool to room temperature then chill, until ready to serve
  • add ice cubes just before serving
