Opor Ayam

Ingredients

  • 2 thighs
  • 5 c water
  • 3 large potatoes cubed
  • 1 block tempeh cubed

Spice Paste

  • 1 large onion
  • 4 garlic
  • 4 candle nuts
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp veg oil
  • 1/4 c water

Instructions

  • Bring to boil chicken in water for 15 mins, then add in potatoes, followed with tempeh
  • Add in spice paste into the pot, stir
  • Add in 4 tsp Vegeta powder
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • Pour in 1 can coconut milk
  • Add in a dozen boiled eggs
  • Adjust flavor
  • Serve with rice
