Bloody Bones

Another Halloween treats for the kids with delicious blood!


  • 125 ml egg whites
  • 250 g sugar
  • flavoring oil of your choice
  • 1 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 4 drops red food coloring liquid


  • Beat egg whites until frothy on medium speed, then add in sugar a little at a time. Once sugar is dissolved, turn up speed to high and keep beating until firm peak.
  • Add in flavoring, I use apple this time, mix and pour into piping bag
  • Snip the end and start piping bones
  • Bake at 215 F for 50 minutes and let cool to room temperature
  • Mix all well and your blood is ready to be splattered all over!
