Choc Cream Cheese Brownies

Ingredients

Chocolate Part

  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c margarine/butter
  • 1/2 c. cocoa powder
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla essence or 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Cream Cheese Part

  • Beat together: 250 g softened cream cheese 1/3 cup sugar, 2 eggs and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar until smooth.

Instructions

  • Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Melt margarine/butter in medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients.
  • Drop by heaping tablespoon of cream cheese filling then brownies filling next one to another as shown on picture, on greased and floured pan. Bake on preheated 350 F for 30 minutes (or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean).
