Goulash

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of baby potatoes
  • 2 handfull baby carrots
  • 3 celery sticks
  • A bunch of parsley
  • 3 garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tsp caraway seeds
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 tbsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne powder
  • 1/4 c vegetable oil
  • Tons of water enough to add throughout the cooking time, adding as needed
  • 2.5 - 3 kg beef cubes
  • Vegeta powder or beef buillon to taste if not just salt

Instructions

  • Heat oil, saute diced/chopped/sliced onion and garlic
  • Stir in beef cubes, cook til browning
  • Add in caraway seeds and bay leaves
  • Pour water, bring to boil
  • In a bowl, mix cayenne and paprika, add in water
  • Pour mixture into cauldron
  • Add in sliced/cubed potatoes and carrots
  • Followed with sliced celery and parsley bunch
  • Bring back to boil, cook until beef and potatoes are tender
  • Add in more water, as needed
  • Season with Vegeta powder
  • Serve
