Halloween Goody Bars

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 1/2 c minutes oats quick cooking
  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 1 c organic palm sugar you can use brown sugar
  • scant tsp of salt
  • 1 c margarine melted (or butter)
  • 1 c chopped walnut almond, pecan, whichever

Topping

  • 1 c mini Reese's mix with the reserved 1 c oat mixture

Chocolate Layer

  • 1 can 300 ml condensed milk
  • 1 c baking chips/chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp margarine/butter

Instructions

Base

  • Mix dry ingredients and melted margarine, then stir in walnut. Reserve 1 c for topping.
  • Grease a rectangular pan, spread and press mixture into the pan, set aside

Choc Layer

  • Mix everything into a pot and heat up on low-medium until all melted smoothly.
  • Pour mixture onto base

Goody Bars

  • Preheat oven to 350 F
  • Sprinkle topping covering chocolate layer and bake for 20-25 minutes max.
  • Let cool in pan for at least 3 hours at room temperature before slicing.
  • Slice into bars and enjoy :)
