Tuna Pizza with Wholewheat Crust


  • 2/3 c. warm water
  • 1 env. yeast
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp butter room temperature but still somewhat firm
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour


  • 3 tbsp sour cream or as needed
  • 1 can of tuna flake drain
  • Sweet corn from can as needed, drain
  • 1 to mato slice
  • Grated cheddar cheese as needed
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Bloom yeast in water.
  • Mix ap flour, whole flour, sugar and salt in a bowl
  • Add in egg and butter
  • Pour in yeast mixture and knead until smooth
  • Place dough in greased bowl. Cover, let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk; about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease pan. Bake crust for 10 minutes, take out and put topping on
  • Spread sour cream on crust, sprinkle a little salt and black pepper, then top with the rest
  • Return to oven and bake for 8-10 more minutes until cheese melted
  • Slice and enjoy :)
