No Knead Bread


  • 4 c whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 c water


  • In a big bowl mix flour and salt together.
  • Stir mixture into water and pour right away to the flour mixture, stir with wooden spoon until mixed well
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it stand either on kitchen counter or inside cold oven for over night, then take out
  • Place a cast iron pot into the oven, if you don't have, you can use round pyrex with lid. Preheat oven to 475 along with the cast iron pot.
  • Take out the cast iron and remove the lid
  • Flour your work surface and dump dough from bowl onto flour, to coat upside down and sides then place dough into cast iron pot and put the lid back
  • Bake for 30 mins with lid on then take the lid off and bake again for another 15-20 mins
  • Let cool on rack before slicing and enjoy :)
