Brazilian candy


  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 heaping tsp whole milk powder/buttermilk powder


  • Place milk and powder into a pot and cook until bubbling, stirring often, on medium-high heat
  • Lower temperature to low-medium heat. Drop in butter and keep stirring until mixture is thickened
  • Cool to room temperature
  • Scoop out 1 tbsp of mixture and roll on greased hands into balls
  • Roll balls in enough sprinkles of your choice
  • Chilled before serving
