Risoles

Indonesia Style Rissole

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 4 garlic
  • 1/4 of a large onion
  • 1 c ground beef
  • 150 g flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • Enough milk
  • Enough breadcrumbs

Instructions

  • Saute garlic and onion until fragrant, then brown beef
  • Add in diced of 1 celery, diced of 15 baby carrots and baby potatoes
  • Pour in 1/3 c broth
  • Cook covered til veggies tender, then thickened it with 2 tbsp flour mixed with 4 tbsp water
  • Set aside to room temp
  • Make thin omelet/pancake until all batter used up (flour, salt, milk, egg, butter)
  • Take 1 skin, add filing, roll into spring roll-like
  • Dip rolls in milk then coat with breadcrumbs
  • Fry in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown
