4cmilksometimes we use 3 c, and that works as well
1 1/3cfirmly packed brown sugarthis resulting in enough sweetness to our household liking, you can add more or lessen it by 1/4 c if you'd like -- some people like somewhat bittersweet taste for their fudge
1/3cbaking cocoa
a dash of salt
1 1/2tsp- 2 tsp maple essenceor vanilla essence if you prefer
mini chocolate chipsas needed, optional
Instructions
Melt butter in high heat, lower the temperature to medium, add in flour gradually, alternating with a cup of milk, stir until smooth.
Pour in the rest of the milk and the other ingredients, bring to boil and until everything dissolved, and somewhat thickened.
Take off from heat, and let it slightly cool at room temperature (for about 20 minutes).
Wash clean and dry your popsicle tray, mold, plastic cups, or any containers you'd like to use.
Pour enough mixture into the molds and a popsicle stick in each.
Freeze for at least 2-3 H and popsicle is ready :)
Notes
As variations, I sprinkled some cavity with mini chocolate chips. I also melt some of the chips and drop a tsp into each cavity just for fun.
