Tojasos Nokedli

Hungarian Egg Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c x 2 flour
  • 2 whole eggs
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 c water and 1/2 c milk or all milk or all water
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • seasoning salt pepper, Vegeta powder

Instructions

  • bring a pot of water to boil, add in salt to taste and 1 tbsp olive oil
  • drop batter into water using spaetzle maker
  • boil until floating
  • strain and drain spaetzle
  • beat 8 eggs, and add in spaetzle
  • heat 2 tbsp oil on non stick pan, make scramble egg with spaetzle
  • season with a pinch or two of ground white pepper and Vegeta seasoning (if not salt)
  • 1 bag of butter lettuce soaked in enough cold water mixed with salt, sugar, and vinegar
