Dissolve yeast in warm water.
In a bowl, mix 2 cups of flour and salt, make a well in the center. Pour vegetable, honey, and yeast mixture. Knead well; at this stage, dough will still be too wet, thus you will need the other 1/2 cup of flour; add bits by bits while keep kneading.
Place in a greased bowl, cover with damp towel, let stand in warm place for an hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 400 F
Divide doubled in size dough into 8 small portions.
Roll each portions to a long rope and twist into pretzel shape.
Place on a greased baking sheet, sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake for 15 minutes (crust will be golden brown).
Serve warm is excellent, serve cold is no problem.
