Apple Filled Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 c lukewarm milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 1/8 c corn oil
  • A dash of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 c flour

Filling

  • 3 apples doesnt matter red green whatever you have, I only used leftover I had in the kitchen. And since I had 1 red plum left, I used that one as well. All peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp salted butter
  • 1/4 c sugar or as needed
  • Allspice powder to taste or as wanted

Instructions

  • Mix to bloom yeast in sugary milk
  • Then add in and knead oil, salt, egg, and flour
  • Make filling by melting butter and sautéing fruits until a little soften then add in sugar and allspice and cook until tender and produces water. Let cool
  • Punch dough and roll rectangle or round, whichever shape you prefer
  • Place filling, and gather sides to seal
  • You can bake right away on preheated 400 f for 20 mins
  • Or you can let it rise again before baking
  • Brush top with yolk if you wish, but I used the leftover sugary water the apple produces on the pan.
  • If not, brush with butter as soon as bread is out of the oven.
