Chickpeas and Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1 can of chickpeas in brine drain
  • 1 block of firm Tofu cubed
  • 1/2 c water
  • 3-4 tbsp sweet soy sauce kecap manis
  • 2 garlic sliced
  • 1/2 of a small onion sliced
  • 1-2 bird eye chilies sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Heat oil, saute onion garlic and chilies on medium heat
  • Add in cubed Tofu, stir, cook for 5 mins
  • Stir in chickpeas, cook for 5 mins
  • Add in water and sweet soy sauce
  • Adjust flavor (if you need salt)
  • Lower heat to low and cook for another 10 mins
