Mini Rolls


  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 egg + 2 table spoon milk to brush the bread
  • 1 cup Splenda or sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 tbsp active dry yeast
  • salt to taste
  • Filling: Chicken Frankfurt cubed cheese, jam, etc.
  • 1 egg


  • Dissolve the yeast in warm water in a mixing bowl. Add margarine into the warm milk.
  • Add milk mixture into the yeast mix in low speed using a mixer, add on 1 cup of flour, egg, sugar and salt until smooth.
  • Stir in the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • When the dough has pulled together, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead until smooth and elastic (not too long)
  • Then put it in a lightly greased bowl and flip it around, greased part facing up and cover it with a plastic wrap and let it sit in a warm place for 2 hours until the dough rise doubled in size and indentation remains when the dough is poked.
  • Punch the dough fill in with chocolate cheese, frankfurt, or anything you want and put it on a baking pan, let it sit for another 20-30 minutes.
  • Brushed the top with egg and milk mixture, bake in a preheated oven 375 degree for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Brush it with butter while it's still hot
