Spicy Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 16-20 pieces chicken thighs
  • 1/2 of medium size onion
  • 4 small red onion Spanish onion/Asian onion
  • 13 red bird eye chilies
  • 1 big size tomato
  • Hungarian Vegeta Seasoning to taste
  • sugar to taste
  • 1 tbsp Indonesian sweet soya sauce kecap manis ABC
  • a dash of white pepper powder mix with 1/2 tbsp Hungarian Vegeta seasoning mixed with a little water
  • Vegetable oil
  • 2 Salam leaves
  • 1-2 dried galangal

Instructions

  • Season chicken thighs in white pepper mixture; fry in hot vegetable oil until well done; set aside.
  • Using your food processor, blend your tomato, onions and chilies.
  • Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil, saute your tomato mixture.
  • Add in the rest of the ingredients; stir well. Add in chicken; simmer for a couple of minutes; serve with warm rice.
