Egg Foo Yung

Ingredients

  • 1 can crabmeat drain
  • 2 cm ginger bruised
  • 8 eggs beaten
  • 2 garlic and 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • Hungarian Vegeta seasonings to taste
  • tomato sauce
  • green onion very thinly sliced
  • sugar to taste

Sauce

  • 1 medium onion chopped/minced
  • vinegar
  • garlic powder to taste
  • water
  • 1 carrot shredded
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 potato shredded

Instructions

  • Mix well beaten eggs with crabmeat, Vegeta seasoning, green onion, onion, garlic powder.
  • Heat vegetable oil, make 2 thick omelets, set aside.

Sauce

  • Heat vegetable oil, saute garlic, onion, ginger. Add in shredded potato and carrot, mix well. Cook until tender.
  • Add in tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, water, as needed. Mix well. This
  • should form somewhat thick but still runny sweet and sour sauce.
