Place cubed beef in the pot, cover with enough water, bring to boil and cook until tender; reserving some of the water (soup)
Meanwhile, grind well coriander, cumin, fennel, and star anis; set aside
When beef are tender and water lessen; add in a can of coconut milk, stir well.
Add in ground spices, hot pepper powder, and seasoning; stir well
Lastly add in the other can of coconut milk; stir well and cook until thickened and somewhat "dry"; and beef are well done.
