Sayur Asem

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced long beans No Frills
  • 2 potatoes cubed
  • 1 bag puffed-tofu Superstore
  • 1 cup packed fresh spinach
  • Enough water to cover
  • 1 pouch Sayur Asem Indofood instant tamarin soup powder
  • Vegeta powder to taste
  • 2 heaping tbsp cooked soy beans I was making tempeh and set aside 2 tbsp boiled soybeans
  • 2-3 tbsp white quinoa

Instructions

  • Place potatoes in water, bring to boil
  • Drop in long beans
  • Cook until half-tender
  • Add in Tofu
  • Add in instant soup powder
  • Adjust flavor with vegeta
  • lower temp to medium-low
  • Add in spinach, cooked soy beans and quinoa
  • Cook for another 10 mins
  • (Potato long beans should be tender and quinoa are done)
