Beef and Bean Burrito

Ingredients

Rub Spice

  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne powder
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion power
  • 1 fine sea salt
  • 1 tsp allspice powder
  • Super generous pinch of ground black pepper

Cooking Meat

  • 6 lbs beef
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes 398 ml
  • 3 c chicken broth
  • 1 1/4 c orange juice
  • 2-3 tbsp lime juice
  • 6-8 garlic sliced
  • 1 large white onion sliced
  • 1-2 tbsp Vegeta powder adjust the flavoring once cooked
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning adjust the flavoring once cooked
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • Beans of your choice red kidney, white beans, etc - canned, ready to use
  • White tortilla

Instructions

  • Mix all spices for rub
  • Rub meat back and forth
  • Brown meat
  • Add in onion and garlic, cook til soften
  • Add in some of the lime and orange juice
  • Add in some of the tomatoes
  • Cook til thicken, flipping meat now and then
  • Pour leftover juices into crockpot
  • Take off meat from heat, and dump all onto crockpot
  • Season with the rest of the ingredients
  • Cook on low for 10 H
  • With electric mixer, make shredded meat
  • Mash some beans, mix with meat
  • Place a tortilla on a plate
  • Spoon filling onto tortilla, roll and wrap into a burrito
  • Serve immediately, or you can brown the tortilla, or even freeze them!
